President of Uzbekistan departs for working visit to the United States

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for New York on a working visit to take part in the events of the landmark 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

On the first day of the plenary meetings, the head of state will deliver a statement during the General Debate. The visit also includes talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, as well as with leaders of several countries and governments.

In addition, meetings are scheduled on the sidelines of the summit with representatives of international financial institutions, as well as leading American companies and investment organizations.
