Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 19 May, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, departed on an official visit to Hungary at the invitation of the country’s Prime Minister, Viktor Orbán.

The program of the visit in Budapest includes high-level negotiations, as well as meetings with Hungarian leadership and representatives of the country’s leading companies.

The main focus will be on key issues related to deepening multifaceted cooperation and further developing the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Hungary.

In addition, the head of state will participate in the events of the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
