President of Uzbekistan Departs for Azerbaijan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 6 October, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan departed on an official visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

During the visit, President Mirziyoyev will participate in the main events of the upcoming summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held in the city of Gabala.

The forum’s agenda, themed “Regional Peace and Security,” includes discussions on deepening multilateral cooperation in priority areas.

Following the summit, several documents are expected to be adopted to enhance practical collaboration among the member states of the organization.
