President of Uzbekistan congratulates the people on the arrival of the sacred mMonth of Ramadan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has congratulated his fellow countrymen on the arrival of the sacred month of Ramadan, emphasizing its significance as a time for kindness, generosity, charity, and compassion.
In his address, the head of state noted that Uzbekistan is welcoming this blessed month in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, expressing gratitude to the Almighty for this opportunity. He emphasized that the reforms being carried out in the country across all sectors are based on the principle of respect for the honor and dignity of every individual, which aligns with the humanitarian ideals of Islam.
Special attention in the address was given to issues of social protection. The President highlighted that the state continues to expand its support for the sick, people with disabilities, the elderly, youth, women, and Uzbeks living abroad. Additionally, the importance of developing education, nurturing the younger generation, and improving religious facilities was emphasized.
