Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has sent a congratulatory message to Lee Jae-myung on the occasion of his election as President of the Republic of Korea.

In his message, the Uzbek leader extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the newly elected President, expressing confidence in the continued growth of the Republic of Korea’s intellectual and economic potential, as well as in the strengthening of its international standing under Lee’s leadership.

“We attach great importance to elevating the friendly and comprehensive relations with the Republic of Korea to a qualitatively new level. I am confident that during your presidency, our special strategic partnership will continue to advance dynamically across all priority areas,” the message stated.

President Mirziyoyev also extended an invitation to President Lee Jae-myung to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan at a convenient time, expressing confidence that such a visit would mark an important step in strengthening the multifaceted and long-term cooperation between the two countries.
