Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree "On rewarding a group of compatriots who have shown dedication in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic."

According to the document, the head of Uzbekistan conferred honorary titles and awarded orders and medals to a group of medical workers, employees of internal affairs bodies, ministries of defense, emergency situations and the National Guard, who contributed to curbing the spread of coronavirus infection, protecting health and preserving people's lives.

In total, the list of awardees included 258 people, 6 of them were posthumously awarded the "Jasorat" medal.
