President of Uzbekistan awarded centenarians

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 August, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On awarding, in connection with the 20th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a group of civil servants and workers in the industrial and socio-economic sectors”.

According to the decree of the President, 14 citizens who have crossed 100 years of age have been awarded the Shukhrat medal.

High awards for a worthy contribution to strengthening the country's independence, increasing its economic potential, educating the young generation in the spirit of love for the Motherland, fidelity to the ideas of independence, selfless work, patriotism, honor and respect, won by active participation in public life, were awarded to:

Imorkhujayeva Mehri - Buki district, Tashkent region

Olimov Khabibullo - Khiva District, Khorezm Region

Razikova Ugilcha - Markhamat district, Andijan region

Rakhmatova Buston - Narpaysky district, Samarkand region

Tojieva Malika - Khatyrchi district, Navoi region

Khojieva Sanam - Sharof Rashidovsky district, Jizzakh region

Sheraliev Karim - Kushtepa district, Ferghana region

Shukurov Khol - Vabkent district, Bukhara region
