President of Uzbekistan arrives in Jizzakh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 November, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Jizzakh to take part in solemn events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding state and public figure Sharaf Rashidov.

Guests from all regions of Uzbekistan and from abroad were solemnly met at Jizzakh railway station.

Large-scale preparation for this event was carried out in Jizzakh. Enormous construction and landscaping work was carried out on the square and the museum named after Sharaf Rashidov. The streets and avenues are festively decorated.
