President of Uzbekistan Arrives in Dushanbe

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 9 October 2025, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in the Republic of Tajikistan for an official working visit.

At Dushanbe International Airport, the Uzbek head of state was welcomed by Tajikistan’s Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda and other senior officials.

During the visit, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the second summit in the “Central Asia – Russia” format, as well as in the upcoming session of the Council of Heads of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
