President of Uzbekistan arrives in Belarus
Major events of the CIS summit are to take place on 10 October. Uzbek leader will participate in the high-level meetings in contracted and extended formats.
The CIS leaders will consider 17 draft documents directed at further developing inter-state cooperation in humanitarian spheres, security and other areas. The CIS leaders will also consider some organizational issues.
In the result of the session, it is planned to sign several documents directed at developing of cooperation within the CIS in various areas.
Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Balarus was US$125.9 million, of which Belarusian exports made up US$92.2 million.
Belarus exports sugar, tractors, malt, home appliances, and other products to Uzbekistan. Belarus gets cotton-yarn, knitted products, cotton fabrics and cars from Uzbekistan.
