President of Uzbekistan Arrives in Ashgabat to Participate in International Forum on Peace and Trust

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived on an official visit to Ashgabat, where he was welcomed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Khodjymyrat Geldimyradov and other officials.

During the visit, the Head of State will participate in the International Forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s declaration of permanent neutrality, International Neutrality Day, and the proclamation of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust.”

The event is also attended by foreign leaders, heads of governments, and representatives of international and regional organizations. Mirziyoyev is scheduled to deliver a speech at the plenary session on the topic “Peace and Trust: Unity of Goals in the Interest of a Sustainable Future.”

On the sidelines of the summit, bilateral meetings with partners from various countries are planned to strengthen both bilateral and regional cooperation.
