Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a resolution “On the approval of an international treaty.”

According to the document, Uzbekistan approved the protocol introducing amendments and additions to the International Agreement on Road Transport, originally signed between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Kazakhstan on 20 March 2006.

The updated protocol was signed on 8 August 2024 in Astana.

The Ministry of Transport has been designated as the authorized body responsible for the implementation of this international agreement.

The Cabinet of Ministers, along with the heads of relevant ministries and departments, has been instructed to ensure compliance with the provisions of the agreement once it enters into force.
