President of Uzbekistan appoints new Minister of Culture

According to the decree of the President of Uzbekistan on 9 August, Bakhtiyor Sayfullaev was appointed to the post of the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan - Rector of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.

At the post of Minister of Culture, Bakhtiyor Sayfullaev succeeded Mahmud Muratov, who was appointed to the post of the director of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.

Also, the head of state appointed Ozodbek Nazarbekov as deputy minister of culture.
