President of Turkmenistan to pay a state visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on 23 April 2018 at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was announced by the press-secretary of the head of state Komil Allamjonov.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will hold talks in a narrow and wide formats at the Kuksaray residence. Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan will sign bilateral documents.

The presidents of the two countries will visit Makhtumkuli Street in Tashkent and take part in the opening ceremony of Ashgabat Avenue.

On 24 April, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will arrive in Khorezm region. He will visit to Ulli Hovli memorial, the Ichan kala complex in Khiva and other cultural events.
