President of Tajikistan presents book “Chashmai hirad” to Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tajik President Emomali Rahmon presented a book “Chashmai Hirad”, a collection of works by Alisher Navoi in translation, to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

“As the people say, one good book is better than any treasure. Therefore, I want to present you literary pearls of the classics of Tajik and Uzbek literature, as well as modern prose writers and poets,” Rahmon said.

“These are collections under the titles “Gulboi oshno”, “Rudak”, “Armuoni dost”, as well as a collection of works by Alisher Navoi – “Chashmai hirad”. I think that these books will please you and cause great interest,” the head of Tajikistan added.
