President of Kazakhstan Awarded Uzbekistan’s Highest Honor, the “Oliy Darajali Do‘stlik” Order
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the Kuksaroy Residence, a ceremonial presentation was held in which the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, was awarded Uzbekistan’s highest state honor — the “Oliy Darajali Do‘stlik” (Supreme Friendship) Order.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, presenting the award, highlighted Tokayev’s outstanding personal contribution to strengthening friendship, good-neighborly relations, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. It was noted that, thanks to the consistent joint efforts of both leaders, Uzbek-Kazakh relations have achieved unprecedented dynamism and have become exemplary for the region.
Particular emphasis was placed on the active cooperation between parliaments, governments, regions, business communities, public organizations, and youth, as well as the expansion of cultural and humanitarian exchanges. Mutual trade volumes continue to grow, and large-scale projects in industrial and agricultural cooperation, as well as joint initiatives in energy and transport, are being implemented.
President Mirziyoyev also underscored Tokayev’s efforts in promoting peace and sustainable development on the global stage, as well as his contribution to fostering an atmosphere of trust, mutual understanding, and partnership in the region.
President Tokayev expressed sincere gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek people for this high honor and reaffirmed his commitment to further deepening bilateral relations in the spirit of friendship and alliance.
