Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of his official visit to Uzbekistan, President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev visited IT Park Uzbekistan, located in Tashkent.

The distinguished guest was accompanied by Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov during the visit.

Members of the Bulgarian delegation were briefed on the reforms implemented at the modern innovation complex, which was established on 20 November 2019, as well as its strategic focus areas and development prospects.

IT Park Uzbekistan serves as a state-supported technology hub aimed at transforming Uzbekistan into a global IT center through the promotion of startups and the export of digital services.

The visitors observed day-to-day operations and were introduced to several innovative startup projects, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence and digital solution initiatives.

The technopark integrates IT companies, a university, a conference hall, and a coworking space, fostering a collaborative innovation ecosystem.

President Radev commended the favorable conditions created for young professionals, highlighting the importance of such platforms in engaging youth in international projects and supporting their entrepreneurial aspirations.
