Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10 June 2025, a formal welcoming ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy Residence for the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, who arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit.

The square in front of the residence was adorned with the national flags of Uzbekistan and Bulgaria, and an honor guard was lined up to greet the dignitaries. The President of Uzbekistan warmly welcomed the Bulgarian leader and invited him to the ceremonial podium.

To the sounds of the national anthems and a performance by the military orchestra, the two heads of state reviewed the honor guard and greeted members of the official delegations.

Following the official ceremony, the presidents took part in a joint photo session, after which high-level bilateral talks began, with the participation of both countries’ delegations.
