Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree outlining the official observance of Eid al-Adha in 2025.

According to the document, festive celebrations will take place on Friday, 6 June 2025, which marks the first day of Eid al-Adha.

To ensure favorable conditions for citizens to celebrate the holiday with dignity, Saturday, 7 June 2025 has been declared an additional day off for employees with a six-day workweek.

Local authorities, as well as relevant ministries and agencies, have been instructed to take all necessary measures to organize the holiday in line with national traditions and customs.

Particular attention will be given to facilitating travel and creating comfortable conditions for citizens wishing to visit holy and historical sites during the holiday period.
