Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his last trip to Khorezm region, instructed to create a memorial park in Jaloliddin Manguberda in the city of Urgench. A project proposal prepared in connection with this was presented today.

The head of state examined the layout of the future monument, noted that it must be majestic and high so that it can be seen from afar.

Together with the responsible persons, the concept of the park was discussed.

- Jaloliddin Manguberdy is a great commander, the pride of our nation. And the park, respectively, should be large-scale, substantial. It is necessary to reflect in the park the struggle of Manguberda for freedom, his battles. Let people come here not only to look at the monument, but also for the sake of knowledge, inspiration, let tourists study our history, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Instructions are given to rethink and carefully think over the project, to take into account the convenience for traffic.
