President confers orders to Usmanov, Alikperov and Knauf
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed decrees on conferring orders of Dustlik and El-Yurt Khurmaty to Alisher Usmanov, Vagit Alikperov and Nikolaus Wilhelm Knauf.
Nikolaus Wilhelm Knauf, Member of the Board of Participants of the Knauf Group of Companies, was awarded the Dustlik order for active participation in development of building materials sector in our country and attracting large foreign investments, as well as great services in strengthening comprehensive and mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.
President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov was awarded the Dustlik order for his great contribution to development of the oil and gas complex and increasing the efficiency of using hydrocarbon resources of Uzbekistan.
Alisher Usmanov, founder and head of USM Holding, was awarded the El-Yurt Khurmati order for his enormous contribution to strengthening economic, social and cultural-humanitarian ties between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation, effective implementation of major investment projects in our country, active participation in the creation of Uzbekistan has unique spiritual and educational complexes.
The chairman of the American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce Carolyn Lamm was awarded the Dustlik order. She received an order for great services in strengthening the all-round mutually beneficial strategic cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United States of America, demonstrated high professionalism in the work to expand the partnership relations between two countries in the trade and economic sphere, and implement major investment projects and programs.
