President Awards Interior Ministry Officers Ahead of Professional Holiday
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On the eve of the Day of Internal Affairs Officers, celebrated in Uzbekistan on 25 October, the President signed a decree awarding a group of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.
Twenty-six individuals received high state honors in recognition of their long and dedicated service, significant contributions to ensuring public safety and the peace of citizens, strengthening stability and security in the country, exemplary performance in improving crime prevention and enforcement efficiency, protecting citizens’ rights and freedoms, as well as for their courage and devotion to duty.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Ashropov was awarded the Order of “Shon-sharaf” (Glory and Honor) II degree, while Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Bakhtiyar Torebekov received the Order of “Mardlik” (Bravery).
The Order of “Dustlik” (Friendship) was awarded to Ulugbek Toshkhodjaev, Head of the Department of Migration and Personalization under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Rustam Khatamov, Head of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
