Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved samples of the flag and emblem of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The flag of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a rectangular cloth of saturated gray color.

In the center of the flag on the front and back sides is a heraldic sign - the emblem of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The emblem is inscribed in a circle with a diameter of 98 cm.

The length of the flag is - 250 cm, width - 125 cm. The flag may be of other sizes, but in all cases the ratio of the width of the flag to its length should be 1: 2.

The heraldic badge - the emblem of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a circle of dark silver color with an annular band around the edge, framed by lines of bronze color. In the center of the internal line there is a strip of red, symbolizing life force.

On the ring lane above is an inscription in bronze straight letters of the Latin alphabet: “O’ZBEKISTON RESPUBLIKASI”, below: “ICHKI ISHLAR VAZIRLIGI”. The inscriptions are separated by two eight-pointed stars, symbolizing the sign of approval, inflexibility and honor.

In the center of the circle there is a round shield symbolizing protection against external and internal threats, used by Amir Temur’s troops. In the center of the shield is an octogram inscribed in a circle, depicting a rotation to the right, which symbolizes order, balance and self-improvement. The edges of the shield are decorated with national ornament.

Behind the shield are two diagonally crossed sabers with their tips pointing downwards - an ancient symbol of protection and strength. The saber handle consists of four headbands, symbolizing the basic principles of activity of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan - legality, unity, respect for and respect for the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens, openness and transparency.

The field of the shield is graphite gray, the saber is silver.

Behind the shield and sabers depicts the Humo bird with open wings, made in golden color, which symbolizes good luck and happiness. This location symbolizes the security of peace and tranquility in the country, the ministry of the internal affairs bodies in the interests of the people.
