President Approves Digitalization and Innovation Development in Emergency Management Sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan will implement a comprehensive digitalization of its emergency management sector.

The President signed a decree titled “On Measures for the Digitalization of the Emergency Management Sector and the Development of Scientific and Innovative Activities.”

The document outlines key directions for digital transformation and the development of the sector’s scientific and innovative potential.

In particular, by 1 December 2028, the digitalization level is planned to reach 60% through the adoption of modern information technologies and digital solutions in the operations of emergency management authorities.

By 2030, it is also planned to localize up to 30% of imported emergency rescue and fire-technical equipment required for the sector.

Additionally, the development of innovative products, experimental design and research activities, compliance assessment systems, and fire-technical expertise will be promoted.

By 1 December 2026, an interagency digital team is expected to complete comprehensive digitalization of the sector based on unified technological standards.

By 1 December 2027, the integration of information resources and systems of various ministries and agencies into the information-analytical platforms of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is planned.
