President approves agreement with Kazakhstan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved a protocol on introducing amendments and additions to the agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Kazakhstan on international road transport on 5 June .
The document was signed during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Astana on 23 March 2017.
The resolution of the Uzbek President said that the agreement is aimed at expanding and developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Kazakhstan in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, in the field of agriculture, health, tourism and environmental protection, as well as in other areas of mutual interest.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to send a notification to the Kazakh side on implementation of the domestic procedures by the Republic of Uzbekistan, necessary for the entry into force of the international treaty.
