The head of Uzbekistan with his decree appointed Salom Samadov as deputy general prosecutor. Prior to that, he worked as the Deputy State Adviser to the President on political and legal issues.

Erkabay Tadjiev was also appointed to the post of deputy general prosecutor. Tadjiev worked as a prosecutor of Karakalpakstan.

The President also appointed Jakhongir Igamov to the post of Head of the Department for Combating Tax, Currency Crimes and Legalization of Criminal Incomes at the Prosecutor General’s Office.
