Presentation of trade-economic potential of Uzbekistan held in China

The event was organized by Consulate-General of Uzbekistan in Shanghai and it presented information on social-economic development of Uzbekistan, diversification of economy, creation of favourable conditions for foreign investors.

The participants considered perspectives of cooperation at free industrial and economic zone Navoi, special industrial zone Angren and special industrial zone Jizzakh and creation of modern capacities at these zones.

During the meeting, the sides underlined that Hunan province is one of five largest coal and non-ferrous metal producers in China and interested in establishing cooperation with Uzbekistan in such areas as textile, chemistry, agriculture, machinery, solar and winter power, mining industry and others.

It was stated that Uzbekistan and China could cooperate in agriculture industry and exchange advance technologies in the area.
