Presentation of the Book “New Uzbekistan: The Path of Shavkat Mirziyoyev” Held at UN Headquarters
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A presentation of the book “New Uzbekistan: The Path of Shavkat Mirziyoyev” took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Around 100 participants attended the event, including UN leadership, representatives of international organizations and diplomatic missions, civil society activists, and journalists.
During the presentation, the essence and significance of the reforms underway in Uzbekistan were discussed, along with their key stages and priority areas.
Participants highly praised the reforms as a comprehensive transformation combining “political courage, strategic vision, and social orientation,” noting that the changes span all major sectors — public administration, the judicial system, education, healthcare, and digital development.
UN representatives, foreign officials, and journalists emphasized the scale of the political and social transformations in the country, noting that their impact extends beyond national borders and contributes to sustainable development across the entire Central Asian region.
