Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Germany hosted the international business forum "Business Forum Germany - Antivirus 2020", which was attended by representatives of the Consulate General of our country in the Federal Republic of Germany, Dunyo reports.

The purpose of the business forum is to bring together entrepreneurs from different countries and search for new partners to establish trade relations, as well as build new business models.

Organized with informational support from the Berliner Telegraph magazine, an online forum brought together representatives of business, government and public organizations, as well as banking institutions, who made presentations on the economic measures taken by the countries of the world during the global pandemic.

Uzbek diplomats used this platform to present the trade, economic and investment potential of our country.

The forum moderator, journalist of the Berliner Telegraph, Tanya Hekker, announcing the speech of the Uzbek delegation, spoke about the measures taken in our country to mitigate the negative impact of COVID-19 on the economic sector, provided by the authorities with comprehensive support of the population and private entrepreneurs.

Employees of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan presented information on the development of active interaction between state structures and the private sector in ensuring the achievement of forecast indicators of investment and export activities, on the investment program for 2020, noted the republic’s interest in further attracting foreign investments and high technologies in various areas and sectors of the national economics.

It is worth noting that during the event useful contacts were established with representatives of foreign business circles and international economic organizations.
