Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Imam Bukhari International Research Center is taking consistent measures to study and widely disseminate the heritage of our great thinkers and establish cooperation with leading international centers.

In particular, to date, Memoranda of cooperation have been signed with 24 leading Islamic research centers and universities.

As a result of international cooperation, the Al-Furkan Islamic Heritage Foundation (Great Britain) donated about a hundred pieces to the Collection Center of the book, containing rare manuscripts and other sources stored in world libraries. Among them there are catalogs and rare manuscripts stored in world funds, as well as work on the study and editing of manuscripts and books on Islamic science.

The conference discussed the activities of the Center over the past period and its future plans, as well as the importance of catalogs from the UK for studying rare manuscripts.

The center also collaborates with leading Turkish universities. An exchange of experience was organized between young scientists of both countries who participate in international scientific and practical seminars. A practical example of such cooperation was the presentation of Imam Moturidi’s 18-volume book Ta’vilat al-Kuran (commentary on the Qur’an) at the University of Marmara. The event included the presentation of these books.

It should be noted that at present the Center’s researchers are actively translating the works of Imam Moturidi into the Uzbek language.
