Practice of recommendation of expensive imported medicaments to be abolished

At the seminar, the participants discussed strengthening material and technical base of medical establishment, expanding access to medical services and improving quality of medical services, as well as introducing modern technologies to the healthcare sphere.

The Uzbek President signed a resolution on measures on further improving provision of medicaments and medical products to population on 31 March 2016. It envisages measures on increasing supply of medicaments to internal market, introducing transparent price formation system and abolishing practice of subscribing expensive medicaments to population.

During the event, UzLiDeP members considered the role of party in conducting reforms in the sphere and disseminating meaning of reforms among population.

The participants developed corresponding proposals and recommendations.
