Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 35-year-old resident of the Damarik mahalla, Khatyrchi district of Navoi region, A.I. organized a platform for cockfights, gathered around the "special arena" more than 100 cockfight lovers. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Navoi region.

For each of them, from 10 thousand soums, they organized a game based on excitement and risk. While 17  cockfights lovers took part with their fighting cocks, they were detained by the officers of the Department for Combating Organized Crime and Illicit Trafficking in Weapons of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs.

As evidence in the presence of witnesses, banners and brochures with an invitation to the game of roosters were documented, as well as various prizes for rewarding citizens whose roosters won.

At the moment, the identity of the citizens who took part in the game is being established, and an investigation is underway.
