Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development Aziz Abdukhakimov, a working group headed by Deputy Chairman of the Committee Ulugbek Azamov visited cities and regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan to study the tourism potential and opportunities.
In particular, on 3-5 September, representatives of the working group visited houses in makhallas of Ellikkala, Moinak, Chimbay districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and met with the owners of each house.
These meetings are aimed at ensuring the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 5781 dated 13 August 2019 "On measures to further develop the tourism sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan" and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 7 August 2018 No. 631 "On organizing the activities of family guest houses" ...
At the meeting, relevant explanations and recommendations were given on the organization of family guest houses, as well as the priority tasks planned for implementation to include these villages and makhallas in the state program "Obod Qishlok" by assigning them the status of "Tourist makhalla", "Tourist kishlak" and "Tourist aul ".
Also, in accordance with the Regulation approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 10 July 2020 No. 433 "On measures to create favorable conditions for the restoration and development of the tourism sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan", the procedure for entering into a single register of family guest houses, serving tourists in family guest houses, compliance by guest houses with established requirements, created conditions for entrepreneurs when organizing family guest houses, in particular, decorating guest houses with national objects, providing them with additional services.
