Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted Resolution No. 433 “On measures to create favorable conditions for the restoration and development of the tourism industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
In accordance with the data of the resolution, the "Regulation on the procedure for retraining and advanced training of specialists in the field of tourism" was approved. The regulation envisages the procedure for retraining and advanced training of specialists in the field of tourism by specialized educational institutions according to approved educational programs, methodological manuals and other regulatory documents, as well as the issuance of uniform samples of retraining diplomas and certificates of advanced training.
Depending on the form of ownership, educational institutions must have a license or state accreditation for the right to conduct non-state educational activities, issued in accordance with the procedure established by the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Tourism professionals are required to undergo training in relevant areas of study on a regular basis, every three years, depending on the requirements of the activity.
The State Committee for the Development of Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan approves the nomenclature of positions and specialties for retraining and advanced training of specialists in the field of tourism. The Institute for Tourism Development is the leading institution for the development of a unified regulatory and methodological framework and coordination of the educational process for retraining and advanced training of tourism specialists.
After completing retraining and advanced training courses, an exam is held in the subjects read. Based on the results of the exam, a document of the established sample is issued, which allows you to determine the level of knowledge of each specialist.
