Imzo opens its enterprise in Osh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An opening ceremony of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz joint industrial enterprise Imzo was held recently in the Kyrgyz city of Osh, Jahon news agency reported.
At the opening ceremony, Osh city mayor Aitmamat Kadyrbayev stressed that the creation of Imzo joint industrial enterprise for the production of metal-plastic windows and doors became possible thanks to the political will and joint efforts of the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to develop bilateral industrial cooperation and boost the business environment in our countries.
“Within the framework of the projected cooperation programs, the work on the establishment of joint ventures will be continued in the interests of the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan,” the mayor said. “The people in our country are very happy and they speak about the policy of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev with regard to the neighboring nations with great hope. The large-scale changes taking place lately in all walks of life in Uzbekistan and in Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations have a positive impact on the implementation of joint projects.”
Over 70 new jobs have been created in the Uzbek-Kyrgyz joint venture with two production lines. The manufacturing volume is set at 2 thousand square meters per month, however, the industrial capacities allow for producing up to 9 thousand square meters.
