Kashkadarya region (42,974 units), Tashkent city (36,244 units) and Andijan region (19,437 units) made up top three on number of registered small enterprises and microfirms.

Lowest number of small enterprises and microfirms were recorded in Syrdarya region (6,103 units), Navoi region (6,257 units) and Jizzakh region (6,761 units).

The committee said that 28,444 new small enterprises and microfirms were registered in Uzbekistan in the reporting period and 17,140 were liquidated.

Largest number of small enterprises and microfirms registered in Tashkent city (5,504 units), Kashkadarya region (2,526 units) and Ferghana region (2,510 units) in nine months of 2010.

In January-September 2010, the lowest number of enterprises and microfirms registered in Navoi, Syrdarya and Jizzakh region. Number of registered enterprises in Navoi region made up 763, Syrdarya region – 1,129 units and Jizzakh region – 1,205 units.

On number of liquidated small enterprises and microfirms in the reporting period leads Kashkadarya region (2,998 units), Tashkent city (2,764 units) and Bukhara region (2,369 units).

Lowest number of liquidated small enterprises and microfirms was observed in Syrdarya region (324 units), Jizzakh region (362 units) and Navoi region (536 units).
