Post of Plenipotentiary representative in parliament created in Cabinet of Ministers

Uzbek leader introduced the post of Plenipotentiary of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan the executive structure of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Plenipotentiary Representative will ensure close interaction between the structural units of the Executive Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, state and economic management bodies, local executive bodies for drafting laws and other documents to be considered in the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The plenipotentiary will also participate in discussion of draft laws, other issues at meetings of the Presidium of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the formation of representatives of the Government participating in the consideration of draft laws (laws) in the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Plenipotentiary Representative will ensure close cooperation of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan in legislative activities, primarily in the processes of consideration, discussion and adoption of laws in the country’s parliament, etc.

The Plenipotentiary Representative will ensure the participation of the Cabinet of Ministers in implementation of parliamentary control over execution of laws, state programs and other areas.

According to the resolution, the plenipotentiary is appointed and dismissed by the Prime Minister in consultation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Plenipotentiary Representative carries out his activities under the leadership of the Prime Minister, while his activities are coordinated by the Administrator of the Cabinet of Ministers.
