Polina Kudermetova to Compete Under the Flag of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Russian tennis player Polina Kudermetova has changed her sporting nationality and will now compete under the flag of Uzbekistan, according to her updated profile on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) official website.

Kudermetova is currently ranked 104th in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings and is considered one of the promising talents on the international tennis stage.

Previously, other Russian players, including Kamilla Rakhimova and Maria Timofeeva, also switched to representing Uzbekistan.
