Plogging to be held at the Botanical Garden in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In honor of the upcoming World Environment Day, at the Botanical Garden on 4 June, was held plogging within part of the social project “Hashar Week”.

“Hashar Week” project will be held on 7-8 June 2019. The plogging was attended by the management and staff of the State Ecology Committee, the UN Office in Uzbekistan, volunteers of the “Hashar Week” project.

Ploggings are a relatively new fitness trend that combines a healthy lifestyle and caring for the environment. This promotion encourages people to scavenge while walking or jogging.
