Plans Announced to Develop the International Korean University in Ferghana and Improve Student Conditions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Governor of Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with Park Joon Ho, Rector of the International Korean University operating in the city of Ferghana.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the further expansion of the university’s activities, improving the quality of the educational process, and creating more favorable conditions for students.

Rector Park Joon Ho provided a detailed overview of the university’s current operations and the academic programs being implemented. It was noted that these programs include a comprehensive set of measures aimed at facilitating the education of Uzbek youth at higher education institutions in the Republic of Korea at the bachelor’s and master’s degree levels.

Plans were also announced to construct additional dining facilities and recreational areas for students on the university campus.

In addition, a project for an AI-based attendance monitoring system was presented, along with prospects for its broader application in the future.

The regional governor expressed support for the initiatives being implemented to develop the International Korean University, and the parties agreed to continue and expand their cooperation.
