Plane, heading to Namangan, makes emergency landing in Yekaterinburg

An emergency situation occurred on the board of the plant Airbus A321 at around 13:00 (local time).

According to the press service of the airline, air conditioning system of the plane failed to work during take-off.

The crew switched off the failed system and decided to return to Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg. At 13:20, the plan landed at the airport. None of passengers were injured, according to preliminary reports.

It is expected that 52 passengers, including two children, will fly to Namangan 1t 19:30 local time with another plane. The passengers were accommodated in local hotel, where they will stay till new flight.

The commission is working to determine why the air conditioning system of the plane failed.
