Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By the resolution of the President “On measures for the protection, cultivation, processing of wild medicinal plants and the rational use of available resources”, the Office for the Development of Medicinal and Spicy Plants was established in the central office of the Ministry of Agriculture spicy plants.

Also, on the basis of public-private partnerships, a small innovative enterprise “Uzbekistan Dorivor Usimliklari” was established.

Creating an exemplary cluster of medicinal plants, attracting foreign investment is one of the main tasks of this enterprise.

From the 2020/2021 academic year, phytobars will be created in schools and higher educational institutions.

Starting from 1 June 2020, phytobars will be phased in all ministries and departments, the Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport and local airports, all types of bus stations, railway stations, markets, sanatorium-resort institutions and crowded places.

When entrepreneurs create phytobars in state institutions, the established rents for the use of state property will be charged with a decrease of 50 percent.

Moreover, in cases of creating phytobars with vending machines, rental payments for the use of state property will not be charged.
