The business forum was organized by the State Committee for Environmental Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan in partnership with the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan and the Kongress-service.

The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, Central Asian countries, as well as Germany, Italy, China, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Uzbekistan, France, the Czech Republic, Latvia and Switzerland.

The business forum provided a platform for exchanging experience in improving the environment and sustainable development of the region, attracting attention and technical assistance of the international community to solve the most pressing problems in the countries of Central Asia, attract investment and clean technologies to the development of the national economies.

The Specialized Exhibition of Environmentally Clean Technologies is the first specialized event of Uzbekistan, which united the most famous manufacturers and developers of environmentally friendly equipment and technologies.

The main sections of the exhibition were: special equipment for collection and transportation of solid domestic waste; technology of sorting, processing and recycling of waste; clean production and consumption technologies; small renewable energy technologies for agriculture and in the residential sector; large renewable energy technologies for the production of electricity and heat; energy efficiency in the residential sector; energy efficiency in industry.

More than 40 well-known manufacturers and developers in the field of green technologies from Armenia, Hungary, Germany, Italy, China, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Uzbekistan, France, the Czech Republic, Latvia and Switzerland attended the exhibition.

At the same time, local companies dealing with issues of sorting, recycling of solid household waste, development of renewable energy sources took part in this exhibition.
