The scholar said that petroglyphs were found in Kuruksay tract in Kattakurgan district of Samarkand region.
He noted that there are various images. There are images of animals such as wolves, foxes, camels, etc. There are also scenes of hunting, archers with dogs and others.
The paper noted that Kuruksay tract could become new tourism sight in Uzbekistan.
According to newspaper, there are over 150 sights with petroglyphs in Uzbekistan. The most ancient of them is located in Samishsay tract in Navoi region.
