Personnel Appointments Made at the Tashkent Region Hokimiyat

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — New appointments to key administrative positions have been made at the Tashkent Region Hokimiyat, the regional administration's press service has announced.

Komiljon Hamidjanov has been appointed as adviser to the Hokim on digital technology and artificial intelligence development. Hamidjanov was born in 2000 in the Yukori-Chirchik district.

He is a specialist in e-commerce and artificial intelligence technologies. Prior to his appointment, he worked as an AI project expert at international IT company Andersen, as well as at Unitel.

In a separate order, Laziz Ibragimov has been appointed head of the secretariat for finance, economics, and poverty reduction. Ibragimov, born in 1987 in the Tashkent district, is a finance professional by training.

Before taking up his new role, he served as a state tax inspector in the department responsible for organizing the work of local tax authorities within the Tax Committee.
