Period of issuing insurance licenses shortened

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan decreased a period of issuing licenses for insurance activities, the press service of the Ministry of Finance said.

According to the ministry, the Government of Uzbekistan introduced changes to regulation on licensing of insurance companies and insurance brokers.

In line with the changes, the decision on issuing or refusal to issue insurance license was decreased from 30 to 20 days, if the applicant submitted all necessary documents.
