People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Husan Sharipov dies

Sharipov died on 26 June. The funeral of the actor will be held today.

Husan Sharipov was born on 27 July 1937 in Tashkent. He starred in many famous films like The Duel under the Chinara (1979), The Grandmother-General (1982), The Bride of Vuadil (1984), The Poor People (1992), The Little Healer (1998).

In 1991, he received the title of People’s Artist of Uzbekistan. In 1999, Husan Sharipov was awarded the Mehnat Shuhrati order.
