Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Toshshahartranskhizmat announced the availability of unified transport cards for sale in Tashkent.

Starting from 1 January 2020, residents of Tashkent can purchase a single transport card, the Toshshahartranskhizmat press service said. Validators are already installed in the buses of the capital. The cost of a card with contactless NFC technology is 11,000 soums.

At the moment, the implementation of these electronic cards has already begun at the points for the sale of travel cards and tokens, you can purchase them both in cash or with plastic cards.

Card replenishment is possible through a mobile application or through MyUzCard, Click, Payme, as well as at Paynet payment points. You can manage the card on the website Atto.uz. There you can get detailed information about the system.

The system will be implemented in stages:

Starting from 1 January 2020 - on some bus routes and Tashkent metro;

Starting from 1 August 2020 - in Karakalpakstan and regional centers;

Starting from 1 January 2021 - throughout the country.

The project is implemented by Uzcard project, which acts as an executor for software development, its integration and implementation.
