Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, practical work is continuing to strengthen cooperation with parliamentarians of foreign countries.

The goal of the Inter-Parliamentary Group of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on cooperation with the House of Commons of Canada is to bring relations between the two countries to a new level by strengthening ties between the highest legislative bodies.

The group is headed by the Chairman of the Committee on Defense and Security of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Erkin Salikhov.

Also, the inter-parliamentary group of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on cooperation with representatives of the National Council of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan was reformed.

It includes members of factions of all political parties in the lower house of parliament. The group is headed by the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Inoyatov.
