Parliamentary delegation of Bulgaria visits Uzbekistan
It was noted that legal base created between two states serve to development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bulgaria in various directions, including parliamentarism, UzA reported.
The guests received information on activities of bi-cameral parliament in Uzbekistan, as well as wide-scale reforms in the sphere of parliamentarism.
It was said that bilateral relations of Uzbekistan and Bulgaria are based on inter-governmental and inter-departmental documents, including agreements on avoiding bilateral taxation, mutual stimulation and protection of investments, cooperation in tourism.
The interparliamentary relations also serve to strengthen legal base of cooperation. At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on boosting bilateral ties.
Penko Atanasov said that the relations between two states are based on friendship and mutual interests. He added that the relations are developing gradually. He said Bulgaria is interested in cooperation with Uzbekistan in all areas, including partliamentarism, trade, economy, industry, agriculture and water management.
